AILET 2014 NOTIFICATION

DATE FOR ALL INDIA LAW ENTRANCE TEST(AILET)   : MAY 4, 2014
The NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY, DELHI established in 2008 by Act No. 1 of 2008 is premier Law University established in the capital city of India. The University invites applications for admission to B.A.,LL.B.(Hons.),  LL.M. and Ph.D. Programmes for the academic year 2014-15 commencing from August, 2014.  Eligibility, total seats & other details for these programmes are as under:
B.A., LL.B. (Hons.)- Five Years Programme
Eligibility: Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 System) or Equivalent Examination with 50% of marks. The candidates appearing in the 12th standard examination in March/April, 2014 can also apply. 
Age:  Below 21 years as on 1 July, 2014 (23 years in case of SC/ST candidates). 
Total Seats: 80 [70 seats on merit through All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) and 10 seats for direct admission to Foreign Nationals on merit]. Foreign Nationals to be eligible should have 65% marks in the qualifying examination. 
Reservation: 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST and 3% for Persons with Disabilities.
Note:  One additional seat for Kashmiri Migrants.  The candidates have to appear in the AILET and fulfill the eligibility criteria as applicable.
LL.M. (One year)
Eligibility: LL.B. or an Equivalent Degree with 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disability).  The candidates appearing in final LL.B. examination in April/May, 2014 can also apply. 
Total Seats: 20 + 5 seats for Foreign Nationals. Foreign Nationals are exempted from AILET. 
Reservation: 15% for SC Candidates, 7.5% for ST Candidates, 3% for Persons with Disabilities.
Ph.D.
Eligibility: LL.M. Degree with 55% marks or its equivalent (50% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disability). For detailed eligibility conditions visit University website www.nludelhi.ac.in 
               
Admission to B.A., LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M. and Ph.D. Programmes will be through AILET to be conducted at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Tiruchirappalli and Patna on May 4, 2014(Sunday).

Interested candidates may apply along with a Demand Draft of Rs.3,000/- (Rupees Three Thousand Only) for General Candidates, Rs.1,000/- (Rupees  One thousand only) in case of SC/ST  and Persons with Disability (PD) drawn in favour of  “REGISTRAR, NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY, DELHI", payable at Delhi along with copies of requisite Caste/Person with Disability Certificate. Below Poverty Line (BPL) applicants of SC/ST category are exempted from application fee.  For further details relating to Application Form, Eligibility Criteria, Pattern of Entrance Test etc. visit University website: http://www.nludelhi.ac.in.

Applications received after the last date shall not be entertained. The University will not be responsible for any postal/courier delay.

Destination Journalism: 20th april is last date to apply for IIMC


Indian Institute of Mass Communication IIMC, an Internationally-known centre for training and research in Mass Communication, an autonomous
body funded by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt of India. Invites application for following
courses.
1. Post-graduate Diploma Course in Journalism (English), New Delhi, Dhenkanal (Orissa), Amravati
(Maharashtra), Aizawl (Mizoram), Jammu (J&K) and Kottayam (Kerala)
2. Post-graduate Diploma Course in Journalism (Hindi), New Delhi
3. Post-graduate Diploma Course in Radio & Television Journalism, New Delhi
4. Post-graduate Diploma Course in Advertising and Public Relations, New Delhi
5. Post-graduate Diploma Course in Journalism (Oriya) Dhenkanal branch (Orissa)

Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Those who have appeared/appearing in final degree examination
are also eligible to apply.

62+62+15+15+15+15 in Course No. 1, 62 in Course No. 2, 46 in Course No. 3, 70 in Course No. 4 and
23 in Course No. 5. Five seats available for NRIs/NRIs sponsored candidates, for which a separate
prescribed application form should be submitted.
As per Government of India Orders for SC/ST/PH/OBC candidates.
MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION AND EXAMINATION : Hindi and/or English and Course No. 5 in Oriya.
At Delhi Campus: Limited accommodation only for outstation girl candidates .
At Dhenkanal, Amravati, & Aizawl: Facilities available for both boys and girls.
Courses No.1 & 2 Rs. 46,000 each, Course No. 3 Rs. 92,000, Course No. 4 Rs. 64,000 and Course No.
5 Rs. 26,000.
21 May, 2012 at New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Patna, Lucknow, Bhubaneshwar, Bhopal,
Chennai, Jammu, Srinagar, Kochi, Nagpur, Aizawl and Guwahati centres. Oriya Journalism Exam will be
held on 22 May 2012 at Bhubaneshwar Centre only.

1. Application forms can be purchased in person or by post.
Application forms and prospectus can be obtained on payment of Rs. 1200/- for general category and
Rs. 1100/- for SC/ST/OBC/PH category through a demand draft only, drawn on any scheduled bank
payable to Registrar IIMC at New Delhi, from IIMC New Delhi or Dhenkanal branch (Orissa). Request for
application forms should be accompanied with Demand Draft & a self-addressed stamped (Rs. 70)
envelope (27x17 cm).
2. For on-line Application process
The application form can be filled after downloading from www.iimc.gov.in. Each application form must be
accompanied by a Demand Draft of Rs. 1200/- for General & Rs.1100/- for SC/ST/OBC/Physically
Handicapped categories drawn in favour of Registrar, IIMC New Delhi. Last date for receipt of application
forms & DD is April 20, 2012.
3. Important : The sale of application forms will commence at IIMC New Delhi and Dhenkanal branch
from 19 March 2012. Application form/entrance examination for course No. 1, 2 is common. There are
separate application forms/entrance examinations for course No.3, 4 & 5. Candidates who wish to apply
for all Courses Viz Journalism (course 1 & 2), Radio & TV Journalism (course No. 3) Advertising and
Public Relations (course No. 4) and Oriya Journalism (Course No. 5) will have to fill separate application
forms.
Last date for issue of application forms is April 20, 2012. Completed application forms with DD should
reach Registrar, IIMC, Aruna Asaf Ali Marg, New Delhi-110067 on or before April 20, 2012.
