The college has ventured into several new programs and schemes to let students have a hands on experience of real industrial IT jobs. The HOD of Computer Science department at PES, Mr. Nithin Pujari had created a new company at PES which would be run completely by their students.
Each student is assigned several projects with the leisure to solve any real world problems or create engineering master pieces. The electives in PES include modern technologies like Cloud Computing and Big data, Inter Atom programming, and even Entrepreneurship.
PES University
The original campus is now called PESIT West Campus (Autonomous) and the new one is called PESIT South Campus (VTU). The intention is not to confuse you but to increase the scope of new college simultaneous to the orinigal one.

PES South Campus

The PES group has deeply strived to bring up the scope of their new campus i.e. PESIT South Campus. They have actually combined the placements for PESIT West and South campus together in order to give an image to the new recruits that they would have not have a problem with getting a job their courses if they wish to.
PESIT has decided to give in to the use of techno gadgets used by students. The college even allows cell phones and laptops to be used though you’d have to keep them in silent mode. It won’t be very far since every college would follow the same.
