DTE Goa announces GCET 2015

Directorate of Technical Education, Goa has announced the exam dates of Goa Common Entrance Test 2015 (GCET) for offering admission to undergraduate engineering courses in the engineering colleges of Goa. As per the official notification, GCET 2015 will be conducted on May 5 and 6, 2015 in various centres across Goa state according to below stated schedule.

Goa CET 2015 Exam Schedule:

Physics	May 5, 2015 (Tuesday)	10 am to 12 noon
Chemistry	May 5, 2015 (Tuesday)	2 pm to 4 pm
Mathematics	May 6, 2015 (Wednesday)	10 am to 12 noon

 Goa CET 2015 Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must be Indian nationals.  
• Candidates must have passed the 10+2 from Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Education or its equivalent examination with an aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ST).
• Applicants must have studied English, Physics and Mathematics as the main subjects along with Chemistry / Bio-technology / Computer Science / Biology as one of the optional subjects.

Goa CET 2015 Exam Pattern:

• The Goa CET 2015 will be conducted in the subjects namely Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
• Candidates must prepare as per the Class 12 syllabus of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education prescribed by  Goa Board, for March, 2015 exam.
• Each subject paper will comprise of 75 questions to be answered in two hours.
• Each correct answer will fetch 1 mark.
• There is no negative marking for wrong or multiple answers
