Applications invited at IIT Delhi for M.S Research course in various departments


IIT Delhi has invited applications for the admission to Master of Science (M.S) research programme offered in the department of Applied Mechanics, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Amar Nath & Shashi Khosla School of Information Technology and Bharti School of Telecommunication Technology & Management for semester second.

The applications are now open for the admission to the academic session of 2014-15 for the same. Following are the relevant details, including eligibility criteria and course structure of the programme :
Selection Process: An interview would be conducted to select candidates.

Eligibility
Applicants must have CGPA of 6.75 for general/OBC (6.25 for SC/ST/PH) on a 10 point scale or equivalent or 60 per cent marks (55 per cent for SC/ST/ PH) in aggregate (of all the years/semesters of the qualifying exam).

A relaxation in CGPA/marks to 6.25 (55 per cent) is also available to those with M.A. degree in English, for admission to Ph.D in English.
The GATE score of a candidate wherever required should not be lower than the minimum prescribed viz. 300 for general/OBC and 200 for SC/ST/ PH candidates.

How to apply
Application Fees: Rs 200 for general category and Rs 50 for SC/ST category.
The candidates are required to fill up the online application form.

Important Dates: Last date for submitting application forms is October 31, 2014.
