24 year old ‘Manan’ srm university, modinagar campus engineering student was found hanging in hostel room. Manan was 3rd year B.Tech student and was living in a private hostel in Modinagar area.
“The body of Manan was found hanging from the ceiling fan inside his hostel room by one of his friends Navneet. After having dinner, Navneet went to Manan’s room and found him hanging there at around 1 am. Hostel management informed the police about the incident,” said a senior police officer.
No suicide note was found, so reason behind this suicide is unknown now.
“We would interrogate his parents once they reach Ghaziabad from Kashmir to get some leads in the case. Police are also investigating the case from love angle. We are scanning his phone call details to know with whom he talked to the last time,” the officer said.
