Kerala state is demanding for new IIT in state since long time. On the issues of setting up an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Kerala, Human resource development minister Pallam Raju said that it is a long standing demand and the Centre is looking in the matter.
“We need to consolidate and definitely we will look into new requests and I think definitely Kerala is the front runner”, he told media on the sidelines of a function in Kochi when asked about the state’s long plea for IIT.
