Last year around 12.5 lakhs students appeared for JEE Main 2013. Final JEE Main score was prepared by giving 40% weightage to normalized board scores and 60% weight age to JEE Main score. Top 1.5 lakhs students on the basis of jee main score were eligible for JEE Advanced 2013.
Last JEE Apex body meeting was held on Tuesday, in this meeting all members decided to keep normalisation rule as last year. The board decided to continue with the procedure for normalising board scores for the JEE-Main. “We may have a re-look at the procedure in 2015 based on the experience of the first two years,” the source said
