A grand celebration ‘Namaste China’ was held at Vellore Institute of Technology, vellore campus on the occasion of chinese day. Chinese day was celebrated by singing the national anthem of China followed by Drum Dance (Feng Yang Huagu) and Indian cassical dance by some of the Chinese and Indian students.
VIT chancellor, Dr G. Viswanathan, said, “The celebration marks the Indo-China friendly relations. It is a prelude to promote and exchange the two different cultures of India and China.”
Chancellore of VIT university said that these celebrations would bring both countries together.
