      1. A total number of 7.26 lakh students have appeared for NEET. Maximum number of students applied from Maharashtra (1.15 lakh). 88,500 applied from Uttar Pradesh, 71,000 from Kerala and 68 thousand students are appearing from Andhra Pradesh.

      ... A total of 355 MBBS & 300 Dental colleges have been listed by MCI, which will fall under the aegis of NEET 2013
      These colleges shall offer a total of 43,740 MBBS seats & 24,840 Dental seats across India
