Reportedly Ankur Abhishek , 4th year electrical engineering student of Indian institute of technology, Bombay drowned at Vihar lake in Powai drowned at Vihar lake in Powai on sunday afternoon.
Ankur went for adventurous outing with his four friends in restricted area of the lake, where he slipped and drowned.”The students reached Vihar lake in the morning and the incident occurred around noon. There was no help at hand. The had ventured too far. To reach IIT for any immediate help was difficult. The institute have not decided to take action against the four students yet. Ankur’s father His father has been informed and he will arrive in Mumbai on by Monday evening
