On sunday afternoon NIT raipur girl student Neha patil was found hanging from the ceiling of her room at NIT hostel. A suicide note was found in her room in which she mentioned about some major fault by her for taking this extreme step.
After investigation the police has found out that main reson behind this is a second year engineering student (Ishant Mahto) of BIT, who allegedly abetted the suicide of NIT Raipur girl student Neha Patil. Police is still trying to find out Ishan Mahto. According to sources Ishant had come to the NIT Girls’ hostel on the evening of January 29 to meet the girl. Call details of the victim is also examined even as Laptop and mobile phones of Neha were sent to the cyber cell.
Neha’s father GS Patil, hailing from Nagpur alleged that one of Neha’s acquaintances, who knew her from child days when Patils lived at Korba, Ishant Mahto allegedly threatened her daughter to upload some video clippings if she not talked to her thereby forcing her to take extreme step.
