Reportedly in Tamilnady state CBSE students can apply for single window counselling without class XII Mark Sheet for admission to engineering courses in the state before May 20.
CBSE will announce board results in last week of May but last date to apply for admission is May 20 so they can apply without results also.
“CBSE students won’t have marksheets to apply for admission to engineering colleges since their results have not been declared. They could apply before May 20. Anna University, the coordinating body for engineering admissions, will download the results using their registration number and prepare the rank list accordingly,” he said, after DMDK member L Venkatesan asked for an extension on the last date for the submission of application.
