Error in JEE Main 2013

Reportedly team of experts from CBSE will look into errors in JEE Main question papers (in both online and offline). JEE Main offline was held on April 7th and fist online test on April 9th. In offline papers there were 2 wrong questions carrying 8 marks and in JEE Main online papers students are claiming that there were 5 wrong questions of total 20 marks. Students are more worried about online test as they don’t have question paper and they can’t confirm all these errors.

There were 2 wrong questions in chemistry each carrying 4 marks.

Students are claiming that there were 5 wrong questions each carrying 4 marks, but this could not be verified with others because the question paper was only available online at the time of the test.
“Students shouldn’t worry, our experts will definitely look into it before finalising the answer key,” said Vineet Joshi, chairperson of the CBSE. He said he had not heard of any complaints about Tuesday’s test. Answer keys are the solutions to the exam questions that the CBSE will release after the final computer-based test is held on April 25.
