Officials plan for smooth JEE

In view of the traffic congestion which posed hassles to students appearing for Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) last year, the district administration held a meeting on Wednesday to make fool-proof arrangements for the examination set to be conducted on April 7 in Warangal, apart from other towns. Warangal district collector Rahul Bojja held review meeting with Urban SP A Venkateshwar Rao and GWMC commissioner Vivek Yadav here on Wednesday. The collector said some function halls had been identified near the examination centres for accommodating the students and their parents. Heavy traffic will not be allowed on the main road, especially on the narrow Kazipet Bridge, on the examination day. tnnA crane will also be kept ready for use in an emergency to remove vehicles.

The collector advised the students to arrive in Warangal on April 6 itself and make use of the accommodation facility provided by the district administration.
