Reportedly Delhi technological university formerly known as Delhi College of engineering will start admission process for coming academic year from 8 April for varoius B.Tech, M.Tech and PhD offered by university.
Currently DTU offers 15 UG and 17 PG courses. This year university will switch to online mode completely for admission process where candidates can register themselves for admission and can also submit their choices of preferred branches online.
B.Tech admission – Admission to Undergraduate courses will be based on JEE Main score.
M.Tech admission – Admission to postgraduate courses will be based on GATE score.
The candidates would also be able to obtain and keep a track of their admission status from anywhere using the internet. As per norms, only those candidates who have been declared eligible for central counselling and have secured a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will be considered for admission only.
Seat reservation – DTU is a state university, so 85% seats will be reserved for Delhi candidates. This year university has also decided to increase seat capacity by 1 in each branch to give direct admission to central and state board toppers
