They beat odds to crack JEE

Where there is a will there is a way. The saying fits for Manish Kumar and Amit Sharma who managed to qualify the JEE main exam and are all set for JEE advanced. Coming from families with limited means, the two boys made it on the dint of hard work. Their parents did not even have a fixed income from any source.

Amit Sharma, son of a carpenter, scored 168 marks in JEE main and has now qualified for JEE advanced, to be held on June 2. He aspires to be a mechanical engineer. I want to become a successful engineer. I am glad I could make it this far and now I will put in all my efforts for JEE advanced so that I get into IIT, he said. We have seen days when we had no income as my dad is a carpenter and does not get work on some days. I want to change this condition of my family and give them some good moments, he said.

Manish Kumar, whose father is an auto rickshaw driver, qualified with 109 marks in the reserved category. I have managed a very good score. I do not wish to go to the IIT and will seek admission in PEC in computer science. He cracked JEE in the third attempt.
