Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJIT) Mumbai announces the Institute Level round for the first year of the four year full time degree courses in engineering/technology for the academic year 2013-14 on Wednesday, 7th August 2013 at the VJIT campus.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The Vacancy round will be for eligible candidates from Maharashtra whose names have appeared in the Maharashtra State Merit list dated July 19, 2013
- Candidate admitted under TFWS in earlier rounds are not eligible (As per rule 1.4.2 of Engineering/Technology Information Brochure 2013-14).
VJIT Institute Vacancy Counselling:
- Candidates have to appear as per the schedule given below.
- They have to carry the requisite original documents along with the original admission confirmation letter (if already admitted in any Institute for academic year 2013-14) and a set of attested photocopies.
- They have to furnish a DD for Rs. 51,586/- for Open Category Candidates and Rs. 36, 586/- for Reserved Category Candidates, drawn in favor of “Director, VJTI” Payable at Mumbai
- Candidates already admitted to VJIT in the first year of the engineering degree courses should furnish the Original Admission Confirmation Letter issued by VJTI ARC. They need not pay the above mentioned fees.

VJIT 2013 Seat Allocation:
- All the seats will be allocated as General seats and there will be no seat tags.
- Allocation will be on the basis of the inter-se merit of eligible Maharashtra State candidates irrespective of category or otherwise
- Vacancy created in this round due to VJIT candidates shifting, shall be offered to the next eligible candidate as per the inter se merit of MT-CET-2013
