Haryana Admission Counselling Dates Revised

The Haryana Admission Counselling Dates have been revised. The new dates have been given for both the rounds of counselling to be held in July, 2013 as mentioned below

Students may note that the admissions to the engineering courses in Haryana are through the JEE Main 2013 scores and the Class XII academic performance. Students have to register online using their JEE Scores between June 5 to July 4, 2013.

Counselling for the first round starts from July 8 to 13, 2013. The counselling for the second round will be held between July 19 to 22, 2013

The Haryana BE/ B. Tech 2013 Application Forms for Counselling will be available from June 5, 2013 for students who wish to take admissions to the engineering courses in the state of Haryana. Students will have to register online through the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES). Students have to provide for the JEE Main roll number while applying. The Haryana BE/ B. Tech 2013 Counselling Procedure has been summarized for students below.

Haryana BE/ B. Tech 2013 Counselling Eligibility:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent with a minimum of 45% (40% for SC/ST) in aggregate.
• They must have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects
• Optional subjects studied by the candidate in 10+2 can be any one of the following Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Computer Science/ Biology

For B.E/B.Tech. Bio-Technology:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent with with a minimum of 45% (40% for SC/ST) in aggregate.
• They must have studied Physics and Mathematics or Biology as compulsory subjects
• Optional subjects studied by the candidate in 10+2 can be any one of the following Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Computer Science

Haryana BE/ B. Tech 2013 Counselling Selection Procedure: On the basis of the combined score of Class XII marks and JEE Main 2013 in the ratio 40:60

For B.E./B.Tech (Bio-Technology): On the basis of the inter-se-merit of JEE Main 2013

Note: 33% of seats at UIET, MDU Rohtak and UIET, KU Kurukshetra will be for candidates who have studied only Biology and have not appeared for JEE Main (Merit for such students

Haryana BE/ B. Tech 2013 Application Forms for Counselling:

• Click here to Register for Counselling
• Click on “Payment Registration”/ generate your Roll no
• Generate the E-slip to pay the counselling fee (nonrefundable) of Rs 500 by cash at any computerized branches of Axis or PNB banks
• Note: The JEE Main Roll number must be furnished for the online counselling applications
• The copy of the Application form must be deposited with the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) category wise as per the specified dates.
• Students can change the change their preferences and choice till the last date for locking their choices.
• Counselling will be held in two phases Phase 1 and Phase 2.
• Phase 2 will be for the seats vacant after the Phase 1 counselling is completed.

Haryana BE/ B. Tech 2013 Provisional Seat Allotment:

• After the result has been declared, candidates have to log in to www.tehadmissions.gov.in using the Roll No & Password to check the Provisional Seat Allotment. 
• Students should print the provisional seat allotment letter which mentions the Institute, Branch allotted, Allotment Status and reporting duration.
• Candidates have to report in person to the institute along with the Provisional Seat Allotment letter as per the specified schedule.
• Fees for one semester have to be deposited at the time of reporting to the institution.
• The fee structure of various self financing technical institutions is available on the website www.techeduhry.nic.in

Documents to be furnished during physical reporting at the institute:

Note: The original documents along with three sets of duly attested photocopies must be furnished and the originals will be returned after verification.

• Class XII or equivalent Marks sheet and Certificate
• Class X or equivalent Marks sheet and Certificate
• JEE(Main) –2013 rank card / NATA Score Card
• Admit Card of JEE(Main) - 2013
• Certificate of Medical Fitness-Annexure-XI
• Character Certificate as specified
• Residents Certificate as per Annexure-II, if applicable (Note: Candidates, who have passed their qualifying examination from a Board/Recognized School located in the State of Haryana need not submit  residents )
• Certificate from the Employer in the case of Employees of Govt. of Haryana, members of All India Services borne on Haryana Cadre, Employees of Statutory Bodies/Corporations as per Annexure -III, if applicable
• Scheduled Caste Certificate as per Annexure - IV, if applicable
• Backward Class Certificate as per Annexure-V, if applicable and affidavit as
• per Annexure-VI.
• Certificate in respect of Physically Handicapped Candidates as per Annexure-VII, if applicable
• Certificate required to be furnished by the Children & Grand-children of Freedom Fighters as per Annexure -VIII, if applicable

• Certificate from wards of Deceased/Disabled/Discharged Military/Para-Militarypersonnel/Ex-Servicemen or Ex-Personnel of Para-Military Forces–Annexure-IX
• Certificate from wards of ex-employee of Indian Defence Services/ Para-Military Forces -Annexure-X
• Proof of annual parental income from all sources (in case of TFW quota candidates & BC,SBC,EBP candidates)
