IIT-I all set to offer new courses

The Indian Institute of Technology, Indore ( IIT-I) is all set to introduce MSc, MTech and PhD degree programme for next academic year 2013-14. Apart from these masters' programme, the institute will take admissions in the dual degree programmes as well. The institution has invited applications for courses in different departments of sciences and engineering.

The courses include MSc and MSc + PhD in chemistry and physics subjects in School of Basic Sciences. The admission will be given to students on the basis of JAM 2013. The PhD will also be given in MSc mathematics. PhD admission will be on the basis of UGC-CSIR-JRF/ NET etc.

MTech and MTech +PhD course will be offered in communication and signal engineering and production and industrial engineering. PhD will also be offered to the selected candidates in subjects, including computer science engineering, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering at School of Engineering.

School of Humanities and Social Sciences will offer PhD in philosophy, English, psychology and sociology. PhD will also be offered in biosciences and bioengineering subjects.

The last date of online application for the course is March 31 while hard copy of application can be sent by April 9. The programmes will start from July 22.
