ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education has launched a four-year B. Tech Programme in five disciplines, including civil engineering, computer science, electronics and mechanical engineering.
J. Mahender Reddy, Vice-Chancellor, said the admission would be through an all-India admission test. Alternatively, scores of JEE and other national level engineering entrance tests will also be accepted.
ICFAI will be focussing on placement for students taking the B. Tech programme. “Students will undergo internship programme in different companies, providing them hands on experience and later help in placements also,” Reddy said.
The foundation is a deemed university, ranked first among top emerging engineering colleges in India by Silicon India 2012.
The last date for receipt of completed application form has been fixed for April 20 and admission test from May 5.
