CBSE 2013 board exams are scheduled to held in month of march this year. Pre-board exams are now over and most of the students are now ready for board exams. Student’s exam performance will depend upon his/her composure and mental strength.
This year CBSE has also started its own helpline to provide Psychological support to students and reduce their stress during exam time.
“There is absolutely no need to panic and go into depression only because you are going to appear in the Boards,” pointed out Dr R Pandey of department of Psychology, Banaras Hindu University. “It is important that students maintain their composure and hold on to their nerves as strong will power is the only to success. Relaxing exercises like yoga and counselling by teachers and parents can put them at ease as it is a crucial time for the students,” he added.
Experts also feel that generally students do not utilise additional 15 minutes that are given to students to read the question paper carefully. “It not only relaxes them but also provides scope for time management and they can plan their answers accordingly,” says Dr R Pandey
