US vice-president will hold round table with IIT-Bombay female students

According to sources US Vice President Joe Biden will hold a round table with Indian institute of technology, Bombay female students on July 25.
Joe Biden, who has “an ambitious vision for India” will be speaking to female staff at the IIT Bombay campus in Powai as part of his India tour.
In round table meeting he will speak about how women in the US have taken part in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM).
The number of women at the IITs has been increasing over the years. This year two girls made it into the top 10 in JEE (Advanced).The US Vice President is expected to take a tour of IIT Bombay with a particular focus on Nanotechnology and Earth Sciences.
This is not the first time that Biden has been associated with the IITs. He had been invited as a keynote speaker to the IIT alumni conference in 2011.
