NSIT open house counselling cum admission 2013

In partial modification to B.E. Admission 2013-14 Notice dated 08.08.2013 regarding OPEN HOUSE COUNSELLING CUM ADMISSION, it is notified that the schedule for OPEN HOUSE COUNSELLING CUM ADMISSION on 14.08.2013 (Wednesday) shall be as follows:
All the candidates who have “Registered Online” for NSIT Counselling are eligible to participate in “Open House Counselling Cum Admission” subject to call by the Admission Committee.
Choices filled by a candidate at the time of “Online Registration” will be invalid and seats will be allotted on the basis of JEE (Main)-2013 merit subject to fulfilling of other conditions for admission and availability of seats.
Vacancy positions as on 13.08.2013 for counseling cum admission on 14.08.2013 will be displayed on the website by 8:00 P.M. of 13.08.2013.
Eligible candidates must report in person, along with all the requisite documents, at the Institute’s Auditorium for marking attendance and admission as per the following schedule:

* The Defence Category candidates will be considered in the General/Open Category in their respective regions (Delhi/Outside Delhi). Therefore they must report as per the schedule mentioned above for General/Open Category.
Candidates must bring all the requisite documents and Demand Draft of Rs.73,500/- with them. Once a seat is provisionally offered to a candidate, he has to immediately take admission in it otherwise that seat will be offered to next eligible candidate in order of merit.
There shall be “NO UPGRADATION” at any stage of allotted branch on admission under Open House Counselling.
It is mandatory for the candidate to report for admission personally. Authorized representative may not be entertained.
