Two things that come after analysis of JEE Advanced 2013 results are that:
1. City students perform better than town and village students
2. Students of parents having annual incone over Rs 4.5 lakh a year, showed the highest success ratio at 10.3 per cent.

JEE Advanced 2013 analysis report shows that majority of the qualified students are from 11 cities.
In qualified general candidates 61% are from cities, 27% are from town and 12% are from villages.
Students in the middle income age group — Rs 1 lakh to Rs 4.5 lakh — had a success ratio of 4.8 per cent and those from families earning less than Rs 1 lakh had a success ratio of only 2.6 per cent.
