Robots prepared by a group of Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur students are ready to play Soccer at an international event in Malaysia. IIT-KGP students of KRSSG group (Kharagpur Robo Soccer Student Group) will participate in the FIRA (Federation of International Robot-soccer Association) Roboworld Cup and Congress 2013 at Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, scheduled Aug 24 to 29.
KRSSG comprises a team of students who engineer autonomous mobile robots (autobots) for playing robo soccer and participate in international events.
