ICSE & ISC 2013 examinations highlights

Pass Percentage:
ICSE : 98.20%
ISC : 95.15%
  • The ICSE Examination has been conducted in 64 written subjects of which 23 are Indian languages and 12 are foreign languages.
  • The ISC Examination has been conducted in 50 written subjects of which 14 are Indian languages and 5 are foreign languages and 2 classical languages.
  • For ICSE in India, the Southern region has the best pass percentage i.e. 99.66% followed by the Western region (99.46%), Eastern region (98.02%) & Northern region (97.30%). Abroad, ICSE has achieved 100%. For ISC in India, Southern region has the best pass percentage i.e. 98.28% followed by Western region (97.17%), Eastern region (95.29%) and the Northern region (94.28%). Abroad, ISC has achieved 98.31%.
  • Special Difficulty cases for ICSE such as Dyslexia cases were 652 (28 candidates obtained above 90%); Visually Challenged cases were 37 (6 candidates obtained above 90%) and 16 candidates took their examinations in the Hospitals (4 candidates obtained above 90%) Special Difficulty Cases for ISC such as Dyslexia cases were 84 (4 candidates obtained above 90%) Visually Challenged cases were 15 (1 candidate obtained above 90%) and 1 candidate took the examinations in the Hospital.
