IIT-B all set to celebrate 54th convocation day on 11th Mar


Indian institute of technology, Bombay is ready to celebrate its 54th convocation day on March 11th. According to sourses Dr A P J Abdul Kalam, the former President of India, will be the chief guest on the occasion. On the same day the institute will inaugrate the new building of biosciences and bioengineering department.

Professor Devang Khakhar, the director of the institute, will be welcoming the audience on that day followed by the foundation day celebrations. After unveiling the commemorative inscription, the chief guest will be briefly visiting the first floor laboratory of the department in the new building. Kalam will also briefly interact with the students.
After the interaction, distinguished alumnus award, young alumni achiever awards and the faculty awards will be presented by the chief guest. He will also address the audience.
