Scope for Electronics and Communication Engineering

We are now in the world in which we can’t live without electronic objects.Nowadays the word ‘electronic’ which deals with every sphere of human activities.Every industry feels the need for Electronics Engineer,they are essential in every front.Electronic is a part of everyday life from the watch to the satellites.Electronics and communication engineering is an engineering which tells about the electrons,devices,systems that uses the electricity as its major part.This course deals with the power,telecommunication,semiconductors and many others.The core subject are Electromagnets, electronics,signals and systems and digital signal processing, microprocessors, embedded systems and communication systems.There are lot of job opportunities for skilled engineers.The students can also apply for public enterprises and the private organizations like All India Radio, AIR, Post and Telegraph Department, Bharat Electronics Limited(BHEL) etc.These engineers are also absorbed into the entertainment, transmission industry, research and defence.They can also take up teaching and research in one of the many engineering colleges in India or abroad.The core industries are BEL, DRMC and MNCs such as Siemens, Intel, Philips and Samsung .Even they can apply for DRDO, ISRO and IT companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, HCL Technologies etc.


After completing Btech /B.E, students can also opt for M.tech/M.S in various subjects such as fiber optics and light waves, microelectronics & VLSI design, RF and microwaves, telecommunication systems, visual information and embedded systems. Earnings of an electronic engineer vary among organisations. Working experience, qualifications, ability are important factors in the pay level.The trainee engineer earns Rs 20,000- 30,000 per month. A middle level technical professional gets Rs 70,000- 80,000 a month. A senior manager earns Rs 1.5 lakh a month. Many of the students are in a dilemma in choosing their Branch and also the college, they must keep in mind that the student can succeed if he/she has interest in the corresponding branch can get good results.
