The four-day technical festival of Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University (IIT-BHU) 'Technex-2013' ended at Swatantrata Bhawan on Sunday. Over 17 events, including robotics, aero modelling, extreme engineering, business plan competition and several cultural performances and lectures by experts were held in the festival which started on March 7.
Students prepared various working and non-working models of healthcare, rural development, engineering and hardware. Robotics and aero modelling remained the highlights of the festival. Lectures by professors and eminent personalities like banking professional Meera Sanyal and noted lawyer Indira Jaisingh pulled huge crowd of students.
Workshops on ethical hacking, robotics, android, automobile and animation were also conducted. 'Ability on wheels', a group of differently abled people, gave a special performance.
