When JEE Main rank was declared, All India Rank of Dhyey Patel was below 70,000 but his current rank is 24,941. This major fault started from state board, they forgot to include his internal assessment scores and the scores in one of the bifocal papers.
Results were declared on May 30 th and after that patel applied for revaluation, he received his modified marksheet On June 8, state board sent copy of his correct marksheet to CBSE but CBSE by mistake included his previous marks for percentile calculation
When Dhyey saw his all india rank, he realised that cbse has used wrong xii marks for percentile calculation. He wrote many mails to cbse and tried to call them many times. Finally Dhyey received an email from CBSE on Monday night stating that his request for a corrected score card and revised ranking has been approved
Finally Dhyey Patel’s JEE (Main) rank changed to 24,941 on Wednesday after the CBSE updated data on its system. The change in rank was conveyed to him over the phone but he is yet to get his qualifying examination (QE) percentile from the board.
