AP students will meet CM regarding 12th board normalisation process

12th board normalisation process that was newly introduced by CBSE this year has been already in controversy since starting. Though ratio was 60:40, but many students who performed well in JEE Main didn’t get expected rank in JEE Main.
AP students have decided to meet Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy on Monday, to urge him to bring to the notice of the Centre the injustice meted to AP students and seek revision of ranks list. They are also planning to move the Supreme Court though some have already approached the AP High Court few days ago and the hearing is expected on July 11.
“I secured 259 marks out of a total 360 in JEE Main. I also got 502 marks out of 530, amounting to 95 per cent in the Inter second year exams. I was given the rank of 7,500. My friend who got just 188 marks in JEE, got a rank of 2,000, though she scored 71 marks less than me. She got 96 per cent marks in Inter. While the difference was just 1 percent in Inter, she moved up by over 5,000 ranks.
If we look at AIEEE last year results, around 300 students from andhra pradesh in the top-1000 ranks list, but this year even 100 students are not there.
